Hi, we are called Josh and Jack we are members of the project. We have been taking part in the project for 3 weeks now. We usually have Video Conferencing with William Barnes. When using Video Conferencing you have to keep really still and speak up. When we have Video Conferencing with William Barnes, we set each other tasks.

We find things out about Stalbridge our home town. When we go out and about we take the digital camera and the Video Camera to take photos. Our group has been making a Questionnaire for our parents. Mrs Friars group have looked at communications. Mr Tetleys group have been making models of the school.  

Hi, our names are Lorna and Jenny. We are year 6 pupils at Stalbridge School.

We have recently joined a club after school from 3.15 to 5.00on Wednesday. In this we do all sorts of activities such as interviewing, video conferencing, computer work, quizzes and lots more as well.

There are other schools included as well such as Hazelbury Bryan, Okeford Fitzpaine, Shillingstone, William Barnes, Yewstock School, St. Nicholas and Sturminster High School.

Every week, we contact William Barnes using the video conferencing machine and give them a challenge. It’s usually about our school or Stalbridge.

We have a rota and change activity every two weeks. At the end of the term we display our work.

We split of into groups of 6 and do different jobs. One group is doing interviewing, while the other makes a model of our school. Our group is making quizzes to send to parents. The other group is finding out about transport in Stalbridge.

 We are really enjoying this and can’t wait for Wednesday!
