For many years now the cluster year 6s have enjoyed a five-day residential trip to Weymouth which takes place during their final weeks in primary school.  There is the chance to relax with and get to know new friends before many of them become classmates in secondary school.  There are also taxing challenges for our children as individuals and as team members.  Most of our daytime activities are based at or run by the Weymouth Outdoor Education Centre (WOEC) whose excellent staff are very good at striking the right balance between adventure, fun, safety and responsibility.  In 2008 we had a particularly enjoyable trip.  The weather was dry (except when it rained) and the school staff on the trip agreed that the children had got along famously, with very few squabbles.
