Interactive Stories 2004
Our web project for 2004 is writing interactive adventure stories. This activity links in with our focus on drama and story telling in Arts Week, it is extending the children's skills in planning and writing stories, and involves them in working co-operatively at many levels.
The children are developing ICT skills in word processing and creating web pages using Front Page. They are learning to design the format of each page and how to download or record sounds to enhance the effect.
The concept of choices and consequences links in with our introductory work on Emotional Literacy this year.
In addition to these worthy cross curricular learning objectives we hope that playing these simple games will be as much fun as it has been to create them.
