In the course of their Literacy work and Citizenship studies this term Year 4 in each school looked at Newspapers. As part of this work each school produced a "Front Page" of articles about their school which were amalgamated into a Cluster Magazine. In the process of their writing the children conducted interviews with other children and school staff, they reported on events and wrote reviews of books, TV and films. They looked at advertising in newspapers and magazines. They developed their awareness of bias and learnt about the important differences between fact and opinion Click here to read our Magazine
