One Year on .......... June 2002
we all met together for celebrations
On Friday, at Thorners School,
Class 2 children from four schools met together.
Thorners started by telling us about a typical school day in the Gambia and then they danced for us - life of the river Gambia
St Catherine's children told us about life in India, they danced and told the tale of the water hole and they showed us some Indian hand movements
The children from Burton Bradstock showed us where the Gambia is and told us about when Musa came to the school. They showed us some brightly coloured banners they had made and then they sang to us.
Symondsbury children told the tale of destruction of the rain forest, the animals danced and the machines moved in. |
