Slimbridge 2003

The children of Parrett and Axe and Beaminster St Mary's Schools went on and exciting three day residential visit in June.  On the first day we took a coach to  @Bristol where we went wild at the Wildwalk, went exploring at the Explore and went goggle eyed in the Imax Cinema.  Then we went on to the Youth Hostel at Slimbridge where we were based for the next two days. On day two we went to the Gloucester Waterways Museum and on to Tewkesbury in the afternoon for a swim at the leisure centre.  On Day three we walked to the Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust, just up the road,  and spent a lovely day there before getting back on our coach to come home.  Here are some extracts from the diaries that the children wrote during their fun-filled time away.
