The Food

Cluster Schools

Last week the year 6’s went to the Isle Of Wight. We stayed at the Westbrook Centre. On Monday night when it was tea time we went into this big room which was filled with tables and chairs to eat our meals at.

On Monday night for tea we had rice and a kind of sweet and sour sauce, and weird chicken sausages covered in bread crumbs, which wasn’t too bad!

Every morning you could have cereal then a cooked breakfast including sausages, toast, one day we had a boiled egg and one day we had bacon.

On Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday we had to make our own packed lunch consisting of a chocolate bar, 1 or 2 rolls and a piece of fruit and a packet of crisps.

On Tuesday night for tea we had roast chicken and roast potatoes, vegetables and gravy.

On Wednesday night for tea we had pasta bake which I didn’t like it to much because I don’t like pasta.

On Thursday night for tea we had bangers and mash or to you lot out there sausages and mashed potatoes.  Some of the puddings were really nice like the chocolate cake and chocolate custard, and the rollo ice cream.

Altogether the food wasn’t too bad.
