Day Two

Gloucester Waterways Museum and Swimming in Tewkesbury

We got to the museum and we saw a boat that was from Victorian times.  We went round the museum and played on a boat thing. I got soaked.  We went on a boat trip and we saw some cygnets.  Then we went to the museum.  I made a puzzle and did a painting.  After I went to the shop and bought a ball key ring.  We went to the swimming pool after and I was freezing.  At 4.30 I went down the water slide.  I got stuck half way down the slide. I got to the bottom in the end though.  That night we did activities.  I went for a long walk with my group.  We went along next to the canal.  I saw some sticky plant and stuck them on everyone's back.  When we got back I went to sleep.  I slept really well that night !    by Arran

In the morning we went to the waterways Museum.  It was great fun.  I dressed up as a Victorian person.  There were patterns on the boat there and I painted them but it was quite hard.                                                                     by Zoe

I went to the Waterways Museum and I got dressed as in the olden days.  I went into a very dark boat.  There was a kettle on a stove, two settees and a cupboard with curtains which had food inside.  We had lunch on a boat trip.  We went swimming, I went up on the slide and when I went down it I screamed and fell in the water.  I had lasagna and a chocolate ice-cream for tea.  Afterwards we went for a walk along the canal the we all went to bed.                by  Alex
