On
Wednesday we went to Carisbrooke castle. It was o.k. First we went
all the way round the Castle. Then we tested two wells. In one
of the
wells it took six seconds to drop water in the well, the other one took
seven seconds. Then we went to have our lunch, and then we saw the
donkeys. Of course we went to the shop, it was robbery!!! We walked on the
high walls on top of the castle, and then we went back on the coach &
returned to the Westbrook Centre. -

On
Thursday the 26 of June we went to an old ruin called Carisbrooke Castle.
We entered through the main gate and preceded into the castle grounds. We
had no choice but t o go to the well house where we waited inside, then a
tour guide came in and told us about the well house. She said there were
two wells built because the first one they built dried up in the summer so
they had to construct a second. Then the lady tipped a bucket of water
down the well and it took at least 5 seconds to reach the bottom! After
that we went out to have in the gardens. Then we split up into three
groups. The first group went into the shop, another went into the museum,
and the last group went into the special donkey sanctuary. After we had
een round all of the stations we sat down to view everything we had
bought. After about 10 minutes we set back to Westbrook house and we had
to draw a coat of arms for our
Isle of Wight
experience.- Benjamin
